US 3yr-old Finds Handgun, Shoots Policeman Father, Dad Sues Gun Maker

LOS ANGELES -- An off-duty Los Angeles police officer who was paralyzed after his young son accidentally shot him in 2006 filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the manufacturer of the gun involved in the accident. Enrique Chavez of Anaheim was shot in the back by his 3-year-old son after the boy grabbed his father's Glock 21 -- a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol -- from the back seat of his pickup... he is also suing the gun shop and holster manufacturer....\
The lawsuit alleges the defendants knew the safety device was defective and that 5.5 pounds of pressure on the trigger frequently results in accidental discharges.

No putting a loaded gun where a 3 year old can get it causes a/ds... Unbelievable.. this should be thrown out and not even make it to a trial.

The last I checked, you couldn't sue gun manufacturers.

Looks like another idiot that we would all be better off had he not survived.
