Does Gun Ruling Hurt the NRA? US Gun Control Battle Sees New Beginning

WASHINGTON -- Here, on the weekend that we celebrate the successful armed rebellion by America's founders, is the thought question of the day. For years, anti-gun activists and others have whispered that the National Rifle Association, the most powerful gun lobby in the nation and one of the most powerful Washington lobbies on any issue, has really never wanted the Supreme Court to define... +1 w/ YeahYeah... Far as I'm concerned, my membership is just an overpriced magazine subscription.. but at least it's an interesting mag that covers all sorts of firearms. Then again, OnTarget magazine is not only a great alternative, but also free at most gun stores & without all that 'join us for the struggle to change our laws' crap they're feeding us.

1. The battles not over yet! You'll be fighting allot LESS against "Gun-Bans"....And fighting more "Sensible Gun-control" laws that will become so stifling and restrictive, that "Sensible" people will find it too hard to own a gun.

2. Your link goes to a different story:

A case of conservative activism

THE SUPREME COURT'S invalidation of the District of Columbia's handgun ban powerfully shows that the conservative rhetoric about judicial restraint is a lie.
In striking down the law, Justice Antonin Scalia's majority opinion, joined by the court's four other most conservative justices, is quite activist in pursuing the conservative political agenda of protecting gun owners.....

The author if that piece of crap clearly must be mainlining the liberal line.

Amazing they have no problem when the court invents the right to abortion, but accuses them of activism when they correctly interpret what the Constitution has in plain English.
