NRA Plans to Spend $15m Opposing Barack Obama in US Election

The problem is, I can see McCain signing a new assault weapons ban as easily as Obama. Maybe more so, since McCain is an appeaser, politically.

I don't think he would do that. He might roll over on some stuff, but he seems pretty firm about the gun rights. I would trust him alot more then that POS democrat that is running. JMO<<<<

As Texicankid pointed out, mcAmensty is just as likely to sign a AWB. He's even more likely to get it passed since most republicans follow a republican presidents lead to stay "party loyal".

15 million? Wasn't that about the same amount as lapierre's compensation for this past term?

Everyone knows obamma is as anti-gun as they come. Why the nra isn't spending money warning ignorant gun owners of mcAmnestys evils is quite disheartening.

it's the lesser of 2 evils....seriously. most of us dont like or trust mccain, but he is obviously the better alternative to his holiness.

we're screwed either way, but a little less screwed with McCain. at least with McCain we wont be waiving white flags. - that's one sigh of relief.
