Gun Ruling Should Have No Effect on Connecticut's Gun Control Laws
Count us among those who believe the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution means what it plainly says. A common-sense reading of that famous single sentence -- "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed" -- construes it as creating a collective, not individual, right to possess firearms....
