WASHINGTON -- More than 30,000 firearms are unaccounted for in gun dealers' inventories nationwide, according to a new study by a gun control group. Further, the group, the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, says its finding most likely undercounts the missing firearms, since the data used, from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, are drawn from the compliance inspections... werent there like 65 million privately owned handguns, that doesnt even include long guns. Im actually surprised that theres only that much unaccounted for out of possible 100 million firearms. One 1/6th of shops were inspected so possibly 180,000 firearms unaccounted for at this rate.

25,000 of those unaccounted for probably came out of Don's Guns in Indy.
