Toronto Military Museum Loses Disabled Machine Guns to Burglars
A Queen's Own Rifles display at Casa Loma was ransacked by burglars. Stolen in the break-in at the Kiwanis Club-operated castle were a Bren gun and a Sten gun (World War II-era British sub-machineguns), a .303-calibre Lee-Enfield rifle and a rare Queen's Own Rifle helmet. Toronto Police Staff-Sgt. Dan Sabadics said the best clue they have is the trail of blood left by one of the burglars... [Toronto Sun (Ontario), via gunpolicy.org ]
