MPs, Gun Control Groups Pledge to Reduce Armed Violence in India

NEW DELHI -- Global Week of Action Against Gun Violence was successfully observed on June 5, 2008 at the deputy chairman's hall, Constitution Club in New Delhi. The function was graced by Dr Thokchom Meinya, MP, Lok Sabha. Other MPs present included Francis Fathome and Dr Karan Singh Yadav of the Lok Sabha. I bet the security force that was used had weapons to secure the perimeter against the poor illiterate organized crime nasties who only want to make a living by using the gun they paid good money for. Oh wait, that occurred before in many burgeoning industrialized nations. With a growing or failing economy, you will allways have a spike in crime. Unfortunately, the gun control crowd, will preach disarmament behind those with weapons. Fact Jack!
