To say that 'Guns are not Christ's way' is to attribute something to both Christ and Christians that I don't believe is accurate.

When there are other options, leave violence aside, if possible. You don't always have to beat up the playground bully. When the time comes, however, you should be fully able to defend the lives of yourself and others.
Men are charged with the responsibility of providing and protecting for their families. The man who does not take up this mission is a failure.

If everyone who believes in Jesus dies, how are we supposed to spread the Good Word?

Also: Christ did use force to drive money changers outta the temple. He proves there are some things worth fighting for.

maybe in the liberal bible where Jesus is a homosexual and has dredlox does it say this, but in all of my 4 Bible, there is no one mention that i cannot defend my home, my family and enjoy a hobby.

The gun culture is alive in well in Christianity. In my old church, it was full of hunters and gun folk. Here in vegas, i can count on 2 hands the amount of men packin heat on a sunday morning. My pastor's asst. is armed.

I won't allow the left to tell me what my faith says and what it doesn't.

Agreed. Just like the constitution, the liberal left is constantly trying to read stuff in and out of the Bible telling us what it says when they're the ones who said we can't have prayer and bibles in school. Funny how those being held captive in Guantanamo Bay are given prayer rugs and Korans at the expense of us as tax payers but public school children are not allowed to have a moment for prayer in school. Such hypocrisies these days.

don't get me started. Liberalism is the best friend to the radical muslims.

It seems that the only Christianity the left loves is the Rev. Wright style.

I corrected that for you. I'm tired of hearing about America being the problem for the world's problems. I'm tired of hearing about us being responsible for this and that. I'm tired of hearing how we need to apologize to the world. I'm tired of hearing about all of the reasons we're the enemy.

There are a few us left who still see the US as the shining city on the hill, the last beacon of true liberty.

The left reminds us each day how the world hates us, etc...but if you remove these elitists and the most of the Europeans from the equation, The world loves us and people wish they were here.

I will never forget reading about the way Africa treated our president a few months back.

America is the last best hope for this world.

36He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

38The disciples said, "See, Lord, here are two swords."
"That is enough," he replied.

He's telling them, "Trouble's coming, arm yourselves." He taught peace and love, but also responsibility for one's own safety.

Sorry to preach, but if someone insults my religion by trying to twist it to justify their bad politics, I will reply.
or the part where the Romans come to take Christ in the garden and one of his disciples pulls out a sword and cuts the man's ear off. Jesus doesn't ask why he's even carrying a weapon, he just tells him to put it away because now is not the time. So if Christ thought it was no big deal for his own disciples to go around armed, why would it be a big deal for us to do so?
