Gun Crime Down Again in Germany: Only 1 in 4 Cases Involve Real Firearms
Gun crimes were down seven percent last year compared to 2006, according to a report released Wednesday by the Federal Crime Office "BKA" based in the southwestern city of Wiesbaden. Police registered 11,526 weapon law violations in 2007, while they confiscated 14,466 arms last year, up six percent from 2006.
