Chicago Students Petition State Lawmakers for Common Sense Gun Control
State lawmakers have received 1,000 signatures to represent the 1,000 people in Illinois who die each year from gun violence. High school students from the Chicago area delivered petitions containing those signatures to the lawmakers Sunday calling on them to pass common sense gun laws.
