Yea, a lot of stats consider "children" to be up to the age of 19 and sometimes older. And that's not counting some thug that wants to put "shot someone " on their gang resume.

You are absolutely right. In PA, we have no "gun show loophole" for handguns. All handgun transfers (except between certain family members) need paperwork and background checks. The antis still talk about it though. Boggles the mind.

Actually some do. I am all for setting up a system so everyone would have access to NICS and be required to use it before selling any guns. Guns used by criminals are usually stolen or purchased through private transfer. I am all for making it more difficult for criminals to buy guns.

I am all for being tougher on criminals but get out your wallet. It costs money to build prisons. The criminal justice system is the way it is due to a severe lack of funding.

I disagree. I think we throw plently of money into the system. I believe the problem is that we throw people in prison for some stupid things and keep them there longer than they should be. We also pay way too much into rehab, education, and the containment of the criminally insane. I have absolutely no tolerance for the fact that prisoners are often privy to 3 meals a day when sometimes I don't, for one reason or another, have the luxury of one. Hasn't the education system proved that throwing money into something does not mean that it will succeed. The primary failure of the system and many like it is that Washington wants to micro-manage it from capitol hill.
