Philadelphia Mayor, Pennsylvania Governor Call for Assault Weapon Ban
Days after a Philadelphia police sergeant was killed with a semi-automatic rifle, Mayor Nutter and Gov. Rendell called upon Congress to enact a new federal assault-weapons ban that would remove such weapons from the streets. time for politicians to decide - that's scary when they decisions rarely benefit the people that put them into office.
This mayor and governor has made a political agenda off this officers death. It's tired, but true - criminals do not obey laws.
