I don't hunt. Don't really plan to. It's not for me. I respect skilled hunters but don't really find any urgent need for myself to go crawling around for days at a time in the cold mountains with the hopes that MAYBE, if I'm "lucky," I'll get to haul an enormous, heavy carcass back to my truck.

Illinois is one of the worst states for gun ownership, and Obama will not support the second amendment if elected. If a democrap is elected, your gun rights will not be safe. McCain isn't much better. Ron Paul was the only real choice for gun owners.

Obama is the biggest threat to the 2nd Amendment in the entire U.S. Senate IMO.

+1, nor do i. my state has a huge hunting heritage and it probably accounts for quite a bit of state revenue, one way or another.

however, my whole family does, and none of them see the point of any but the nra-backed gun control (nics, mostly).

Actually Fred Thompson was the ONLY real choice for gun owners, but he decided early on his heart wasn't in it, and left us without a true conservative candidate.

trusting an illinois politician with your 2A rights is like trusting a californian or wisconsin politician with them. It aint gonna work, period.
