Virginia Tech Refuses Campus Rally Permit for National Gun Control Group

Virginia Tech said yesterday that it will not allow a national gun-control advocacy group to hold a campus demonstration on April 16 while the school commemorates last year's massacre. Tech spokesman Larry Hincker said neither the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence nor the co-sponsor of the planned demonstration, ProtestEasyGuns.com, had applied for an assembly permit, and even if they... good for them, no one pro gun or not should be using that day of rememberance and mourning to further a political agenda

Agreed, that day should be used for one purpose only, and that's to remember the ones lost in such a senseless and tragic event.

Additionally, I don't think their trying to hold this rally helps those of us who are pro-carry/gun.
