Georgia Senate OKs Hidden Handgun Carrying in Eateries, on Trains

Georgians with concealed weapons permits could carry guns on MARTA trains, and into restaurants as long as they don't drink, under a bill that passed the Senate after two rounds of contentious debate Wednesday. Senators tacked the provisions onto HB 257, a bill that would have allowed Magistrate Court constables to carry guns, and significantly expanded its scope. The last minute... New Georgia handgun laws...

It is about time Georgia is doing something to make laws friendlier for the people who could potentially protect yours and my loved ones from careless individuals who dont care about gun laws anyway. I will tell anyone who thinks "SEE VA. TECH" that if I had been there. That if I had my one of my many handguns, either the young man who went on the killing spree... (I wont even give him the pleasure of saying his name) Either he would be dead very quickly hopefully saving lives, or he would have killed me too. But for a concealed weapons holder, you must be allmost an extention of a law enforcement officer. Making some sort of judgement at a potetially very critical time, when lives might be at stake. I would only hope that if a armed gunman held me hostage and someone else was there watching held a concealed weapon that even if they shot through me in order to kill the gunman. I would understand, I would hope my family would understand even if I was killed in the process. Till then I would rather be judged by twelve than carried by six...

wow, you totally misread my post.

if you ask anyone here i'm sure they'll tell you i'm unabashedly pro-2A, which is what i was trying to say by saying "for the reverse(of what happens when people are armed): see VA TECH(where noone was armed but Cho)"

as for the email you sent me about being french,

ask them what the American revolution would have been like without a little help from them.

you don't know me, don't presume to judge me.
