Just a thought. I'm not sure how often WAC does classifier matches.

I don't mind the 2hour drive to GVille. Give me a chance to see my daughter at UF

9X19mm is legal to shoot in Revolver division provided you can find a 9X19mm Revolver that can handle Major 9. Also there are a few Major 9 loads that make major at SAAMI specs for +p. It is hard to do with specialized powder/guns/reloading techniques however it can be done.
No one does it though...

Whoops, always forget about revolver div. No one shoots that around here lol.
I don't think making SAAMI +P pressure requirements (or even purchasing the equipment to find out) is a concern for anyone loading 9mm major in USPSA

I have found that shooting USPSA matches has made me a better shooter faster than if I only shot IDPA. I saw several hardcore IDPA shooters that never shot USPSA come over to the dark (USPSA) when they realized the benifits.
USPSA gives you a problem and then lets you figure it out. IDPA however is very specific in how one is to shootthe course of fire. They both have place. I think that USPSA makes you a better shooter IMO.

Yep, I just joined IDPA today. I think I'll wait for the USPSA. Though I don't know how my XDc .45 will do

Great Info!
Hey all, just wanted to thank everyone in this thread for posting some great go to information for someone looking to get into the sport like me. So far its given me a pretty solid base to understand some of the jargon and frameworks that are involved.
One thing I have got to get a better grasp of, despite it being talked extensively here, is the difference between IDPA and USPSA, and where I would like to go.
Keep the helpful info coming! I'm currently in knowledge mode which means I will take anything and everything I can find on the subject and drown myself in it. Thanks again yall!
