My First IDPA Comp @SharpshootersUSA

Just got back from my first IDPA meet at SharpshootersUSA in Roswell. Had an absolute BLAST (no pun intended) and very excited to get out to more of these. So much more fun than pure target shooting as it actually requires quick thinking. The second round was even a blind stage which was pretty challenging considering this was my first IDPA meet but I managed to shoot Stage 3 without any deductions in 30sec which I was thrilled with. There was also a guy there shooting an XDM-40.

That's awesome! I didn't realize they had an IDPA match there.

Back in April I was on a business trip in Atlanta and I stopped in for some range time at Sharpshooters USA. Very nice range. Extremely clean and comfortable.

Ditto, was there 2 weeks ago on business and spent an afternoon there. Nice range. They have IDPA matches every Monday, IIRC. I got there on a Monday but didn't know at the time. I've never shot an indoor IDPA match.

Glad you enjoyed your time there. These matches are definitely addictive!!
