Wife just got me a 1yr pass to Shooters Choice in West Columbia for Valentines Day. So I guess that I where I will be breaking in the new subcompact 40

Normally go out to a friends in the country and shoot in his fields.

Here in charleston:

Trader World indoor range: it's close to work, but not the best facilities.
ATP Gun Shop and Indoor Range: Nice facilities, but always busy. This is where I go when I get off work early.

Palmetto Gun Club Outdoor Range: I currently shoot both IPSC and IDPA twice a month here.

Update: Shooters Choice in West Columbia is top notch. I have heard mix reviews but the wife and I had a great time there. The salesman and range master were very friendly and nice. Highly recommend it if your in Columbia.

Hi Guys! I just started to work at Allen Arms in Greenville and it is a real nice place to shoot. Hope to see you in sometime.

I live in Charleston, and drive out to Highway 41. They have a Boggy Head Rifle Range, that now has an awning, so you can shoot even when its raining. If I'm not there I go to ATP, since its closer.

My dad lives in Greenville and is wanting to get his CWP. Recommendations on best place for class and information on process needed.

Saw a few posts with good things said about Allen Arms on Pointsett HWY. Anyone been through the CWP process with them?

I've been to Allen Arms in Greenville and I can't believe how crowded it was over the XMAS holidays. I bought my son his XD45C as a gift. Everyone there is great to deal with and check out their website as they list their classes and schedules. http://www.allenarms.net/

My son got his CWP last year at the Greenville gun club before AA opened.

Twin Ponds and Boggy Head, both in the FMNF. ATP if it's during a weekday, and now I can go to the Palmetto Gun Club range in Summerville/Ridgeville

The rifle range at Leeds can be a lot of fun.
