Glow-on

How many of you use Glow-on? Seems legit. I am undecided if I want to try it or not, and would like your input. I don't know if the moment of truth arises if I am going to be thinking of charging it with a flashlight. (although I always carry a flashlight) If I charged Glow-on before bedtime would it last through the night in my safe.

I bought a bottle of it on Amazon for around $10 and applied it to my xd40. The pros: It does glow bright, is easily applied, doesnt differ much in the daylight from stock sights. The Cons: It needs to sit in light to recharge, so if u keep you weapon of choice in a dark storage area, once you pull it out the sights will not be charged. Also being a combat vet I never sleep good throughout the night so as I woke up throughout the night I kept checking the sights and they kept their glow for about 4-6 hrs, by the time 5-8 hrs come around its either really dim or completely dead. It does glow and it glows bright but it just doesnt last long and it has to be in light for it to recharge so depending on your intended application I would definitely recommend it as a cheap alternative if your firearms sees a decent amount of light throughout the day.

Yes, I do prepare for war. If no war happens in my time so be it, but my kids will be prepared for it in their time.

I've had it on my XDs for almost a year. It still works.

Glow-on works.

the orange on my front posts has given me a better sight picture.

the green in my dots on my XDm has not really changed anything for me. I am thinking about going orange on the front dot.

the orange doesn't glow very long but the green does ok though. I would buy it again.
