I applied it to the sites on both my XDs yesterday. Today I thought I'd check it out. I charged it up at 11:30 this morning and checked it a couple times.
After 6 hours, the glow is still visible. Not "bright," but visible.
Thanks, Glow-on.

I really can't remember. Probably some sort of solvent. I removed the white sight paint completely (one of the dots had fallen out on its own) using a toothpick.
I applied clear nail polish over the top. It is still good on both my XDs.

Yes, they are a sight sponsor. This thread is in their subforum. Gatopardo should make one of his info posts a sticky, but here you go.

so how did you "charge" your sights? It is certainly better than the factory paint that comes on the XD. But not overly impressed.

I charged them by shining light on them. That is the way all phosphorescent materials have to be charged in order to make them glow.
What were you expecting glow-on to be, that you're disappointed with how it works?

I am completely satisfied with mine. I can charge it for 20 minutes under my desk lamp with and when I wake up it is still visible. Tritium it is not but I knew that when I ordered.
