Early this morning, I stumbled across an internet ad for Gilbertsguns.com. I'm an early riser and it was too early to call so I wrote down the 1 800 number and head out the door for work... When I got within cell coverage I called to see if Gilbertsguns had what I was looking for (something XDM related for my new XDM 9mm. Hee Hee

From the beginning of our conversation, I could tell I was dealing with someone who truly understood good customer service and enjoyed what he did....

It was a pleasure dealing with him and I felt really good about the transaction. Top notch! His name? Jason Gilbert.

Since I'm still a rookie to the forum, I'm still exploring... Tonight I stumbled across Jason's sponsorship of this forum. It is not surprising to see so many of Jasons excellent posts. You can see that he really enjoys what he does.

I was unaware this morning, when I ordered from Jason that he was a forum sponsor and also was unaware of any discount given to XD Talk.com forum members. I still feel really good about my conversation and transaction with Jason this a,m.. Good prices and Great customer service... His involvement with this fine forum further cements my opinion of him... Top notch.

Been lurking here for a couple months and decided to register and make my first post a good word for Gilbert's. I live outside Louisville with plenty of gun shops locally, but I choose to drive 45 minutes down I64 to Gilbert's. It's worth the trip, even last summer when gas was 4 bucks a gallon. I've bought a couple Saigas, mags, ammo, and then just before Christmas a XDM 9mm. I've always great service in pweson and when I've ordered online they always ship the same day. Their prices are better than Louisville area shops as well. Can't ask for more.
