Just to let all know that I made a
personal visit to Gilbert's Gun Shop
yesterday.

Got to meet all but Jason. So happens
the boss takes off on Tuesdays for a
day of rest.

Gang, let me tell you...Jason has one
fine stocked retail store. Very good
selection. Of course if he does not have
it in stock, it can be provided immediately
from his distributors. You name it, he has
it.

I knew Jason was the right man for this forum the first time I spoke with him last year. I asked Jason if he would be interested in becoming a forum sponsor on XDtalk, he instantly said yes and asked for me to get all the information lined up for him. I more then happily emailed "Kermee" about getting him on board, one thing led to another and BAM!! here he is.

ED, I'm glad that you got to see Gilbert's Gun Shop in person, I could only imagine it being as good if not better then what I have pictured.

Jason is a man of his word and will go out of his way to make a customer happy. Im very happy to have Gilbertsgunshop aboard XDtalk. We have all the best on this forum and Jason fits in quite nicely.

Here are my 2 cents.

Gilberts = good people. I work in Frankfort and right down the road from the store. I will say the majority of my firearms have been purchased from them. I have been going there for years and they earn the repeat business. Service, selection, and attitude are top notch, and something you don't find at every gunstore or a big chain.

I tried to buy a holster from Gilbert's Gun Shop for 3 days now and could get absolutely no one to answer my emails. Finally gave up and bought one from Packing Heat Leather................................No problem with communication there!

We do our very best to answer every intelligible email . We do receive hundreds of the emails a day and there is a chance that we do miss one here or there. Of course we are open 50+ hours a week and we do have a toll free phone number to reach, so there are always options of reaching us.

We do not always respond to many emails like " I need a holster ", or "do you have any guns" or " I don't know what gun I have but I need a mag" or "wil you ship guns straight to my house". We also do not respond to anyone who is mad at the world ~ that would be those select people who email 3 hours after we close, then email after midnight, then email at 5 am the next morning (mad) that we haven't responded to there previous 2 emilas since we haven't been at work. A bad attitude is pretty recognizable and like most other people in the world I would prefer to work with the majority of the good people out there ~ like the vast majority of good folks on XD Talk

If you did send an intelligible email and we missed it I do apologize, if that unlikely event occurs, all customers are enouraged to use the toll free number so they actually speak to someone. At this time we do only have English speaking reps in store, so if you speak German or Swahilli you will probably be out of luck.
