I'm anxiously awaiting more info.

We already know the specs. So, the price is the important part.

Hey Guys,

For the first few weeks they will be tough to get. I do have one and the link below lists all the specs. It is a nice feeling pistol; it will be in the running for gun of the year!

They said large qty's should be available very soon. Very, very soon. And I would expect the price to fall from the $699 price pretty quickly. Just an FYI. The Matte black will also be available in qty very soon and they will be even cheaper. They also stated that there will be no other introductions in the near future. Who knows, that is simply what I have been told. No word on availability of extra mags either

I hope this clears up some of the mystery to this pistol, and give a little direction on when you all should buy

Take Care
Jason. ~ I hope to see some of you all at the NRA Show. I will be in the Nikon booth. Please stop by and say hello

Alright, I have a good question. Obviously, your picture in this link is not an XD-M. However, it is still interesting because this picture is of an XD Tactical with a Thumb Safety. As far as I knew, the only XD with a thumb safety was an XD Service in .45 ACP. What gives?

Yea! They posted the wrong picture. That is not a .40S&W, nor it is the (M) model.

I think I'm going to buy now. I'm getting it for $660/Out the door. I'm not sure, but I'd say it will be a while before most of the dealers drop their price that low.

Any idea if they will be releasing a .45 or 9mm soon? I really don't like the .40 round. It's neither here, nor there imho. Not as powerful as a .45, and with +P ammo the 9mm is pretty darn close to the .40, with the added benefit of being able to buy range ammo that won't break the bank. Oh, and the .40 has a snappier recoil than both the .45 and the 9.

According to Jason's sources, "They also stated that there will be no other introductions in the near future".

I'm taking that as, no, there will not be 9's & .45's very soon.

See, SA knows a good caliber. There must be a method to their madness!?!
