There is no trimming required on the sights, please do not let anyone do that to your sights. If they have the proper to tool to install it will go in fine ( although very difficult )

Do Not Let Anyone Install Your Sights With Any Type of Blunt Striking Tool. Kind in mind, these are little glass vials inserts ( for lack of a better description ) and are not designed to be beat on with a hammer/punch.

I am not saying your guy did that, but I had a customer return to the store with his sights saying "they went dim" and it was obvious that whoever installed his sights and hit it repeatedly with a hammer and/or punch. They were beat all to pieces and round off at the top and we want to swap them out because "they didn't work"

Truglo is a great company and they will work with any reasonable complaint, but I don't think anyone can expect them to fix something when it has been obvioulsy abused

Hope this post makes soem sense
Take Care
Jason

We do have another large shipment coming MOnday or Tuesday and another scheduled to ship out May 2nd

So we should be good for another week to 10 days.

I am shocked at how many people are choosing the Green / Yellow

Take Care
Jason

3 week wait for green/green sights!

Well, with this great deal on TruGlos from Gilberts, I finally gave up on SureSight getting their act together and shipped my XD40 slide out to Jason on Thursday. Now I just have to wait 3 weeks.....

....... but through no fault of Gilbert's!! (I know, misleading title but I just couldn't resist it! )

I'm leaving tomorrow on a 3 week visit to Europe and so will not be in town to welcome my baby back home.... sigh. The wait is probably going to kill me - hope the anticipation doesn't spoil my trip LOL

Although I was SORELY tempted to go with yellow/green, I took Jason's advice and went with green/green since I reckon he's in a much better position than me to know which works better.

Can hardly wait.

Why do you say green/green is better than yellow/green? Curious to hear your opinion...

I said Green / Green is more popular, and I do think better also. Everyone I have spoke with says the green / green has the most longevity.

Most popular , most durable = better in my book

Just my opinion

Take Care

Green/green does last the longest. The green's half life is longer than the yellows. Also, the yellow is dimmer than the green. However, for me I liked the yellow/green because of it being dimmer than the green. Also, having a different color front and rear makes it much easier on my eyes to line up the sights. Just my .02
