i have read that the rear sight has a gap between them and the slide. has this been corrected or not.

Nothing special to do when just sending the slide through UPS correct?

Correct...you are just sending parts, not a firearm or anything that could be construed by the ATF as a firearm. I personally wouldn't go out of my way to tell the counterperson at the UPS Store that it is a pistol slide, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing so.

yes the is a little gap since the sights cover more area then the ragular ones its the area right in front of the rear sight. its hardly even noticable. the reason i can think of for doing this is to allow for size differnces between guns. if there wasnt a gap it would most likely scratch the top of the slide when you were putting them on

Called Gilberts today . I ordered a set of the TFOs and his last XD mag kit in 9mmSC. Jason was great to deal with and has great prices. I cant wait for UPS to to come knocking on my door.

All my other guns have green/green sites. Does the green/yellow really help out? Any comments or reviews?

Same question here. I have seen lots of pictures of truglos in green/green setup. I haven't seen but one in yellow/green setup and it was a bad picture
