I don’t know if my email is getting confused somehow, but I have never said anything about XD stock sights, I wouldn’t even know where to get stock XD sights for you. As indicated in my previous email, please send the slide back to us at the address listed below, we will replace the sight free of charge and ship the slide back to you. No Charge. I never asked you to wait and see if you will get a refund or anything like that. We are going comp the sights for you and then see if we can get Truglo to replace the sights for us. We will keep the damaged sights and return them to our rep at Truglo and try to work it out on our end

You seem like you would rather work with Truglo, so if you do go that route I will be glad to forward you a receipt from the purchase. That receipt is from over a year ago, and I don’t know if they have some stated explicit warranty or not, so where you decide to get the sights fixed is up to you. I have everything already here and ready to go and as I stated we will gladly replace it for you without charge. No hassle. I do not know what Truglo’s policies are on replacement / exchange, so I will leave that up to you

If you decide to send it to us, we will not be doing any installs / service of any kind Mon thru Thursday of this next week, as we will have everyone in here doing remodeling. Service related projects should resume on Friday. At this point we have several planned at the end of the week, so it won’t be a problem to slide you in

Any word on the Gen2 TFO's coming out? Personally I have the TFO's on my XD45 and put at least 1000 rds through it without any problems. They can get a little cloudy from all the gun powder blast but for defense I doubt anyone would be putting a few hundred rounds to get to that point.

I just got an XD9 and plan on getting the TFO's again and after seeing this thread I was curious about the new ones. I dont feel that any of the solvents I've been using have affected the sights at all if this helps anybody.
