Jason,
I've had my slides back for a couple of weeks now and sent you a PM the day they arrived regarding my subcompact. The front sight has a sliver of sharp metal protruding from the side, I guess as a result of force used to push the sight in place? I'm mainly worried that it'll snag on my shirt tails or something when drawing the gun and was wondering if you have any suggestions for how I can remove it without scratching my slide? I tried getting it to budge loose before realizing how sharp it was until it put a slit in my finger... Let me know your thoughts. Anyone else who could help, please, feel free to throw in your $.02

Hi Jason,
I called the shop today (June 17) and it looks like you are out I am sending my XD slide tomorrow along with my personal info. If I'll like this setup, I will send my XD sub too. Follow up question: Are the TFO sights adjusted/aligned/tested at the shop? Or do we need to do this?

I like the green/green TFOs on my service model. I think it's time to do the yellow/green TFOs on my sub-compact. Please reserve a set for me. I will mail slide tomorrow.

Sent Gilbert's my XD-45 tactical slide last month for a set of TruGlo TFO's. Outstanding workmanship, turn-around time and and over the phone customer service.
Would highly recommend. |
