Checked the ebay history on the Tru-Glos for $34, they were just fiber optic based on the picture and the description, so do not feel too bad.

XD Truglo fiber optic sights non tritium .. NEW - eBay (item 140227845082 end time Apr-28-08 16:50:10 PDT)

Are the TFO's not available with a red front sight? Its on their website unless im misreading something...

You are misreading something...

TFO = Tritium Fiber Optic. The red you are seeing is NOT TFO but simply Fiber Optic. TruGlo makes Tritium, Tritium Fiber Optic, and Fiber Optic sights.
