I got my yellow/greens. Going to get the babies installed today.

BTW I was reminded last night how freaking bright the green/green were, when I heard some noise outside and a car alarm. I have a garage but have left it open before. Well it wasnt my car but was reminded how fantastic these things are, after 6 months no less.

I've been a lurker for awhile, so many good tips, about two months ago became the proud owner of an xd 40 sub. I recentlly purchased from Gilberts and couldn't believe how quickly I received my new sights. Thanks!!!I had brand new mepro's removed for the truglo green /yellow, I have recieved many compliments on them. The true test is right at twilight, these are so vivid!! During the day they are almost dayglo bright! Thanks again Mr Gilbert!!

Ordered my TFO's from Gilberts on Sunday at about Midnight, got here in Missouri today. Very fast service and the sights look great. They are being installed as we speak

WHO IS INTALLING THEM FOR YOU, I AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING SOMEONE TO INSTALL MY SURESIGHTS FOR ME. THE LAST TFO'S I GOT DONE AT BASS PRO, BUT THEY TELL ME THEY WONT INSTALL SIGHTS ON XD ANYMORE.

This is the tool I used for the install, I went very slow, pushing, when the originals came loose they popped rather loudlly. When installing i started the new sights by hand, then would push and relax the tool after each push to let it self center. From waht I have heard if the original sights shear off, you will still have to take to a gunsmith to have them milled off. I had replaced the originals with mepro's and two weeks later removed them for the truglo's. I did notice when I was pushing the truglo's on they seemed tighter than the mepro's, so to ease the push I rubbed a very small amount of oil on the base of the truglo's. That made them push smoother and slightlly easier. They are still tight enough not to move, plus the truglo's have a set screw to lock to the slide. Jason, what would you charge if I sent you the slides to my XD-9 and XD-40 sub along with a set of trijicon sights to be installed on one, and bought a set of TFO's from you to be installed on the other?
