Need a lefty XD Gear holster for a recently-purchased XD? Possibly free...

While checking on my XDGearUp promo, I mentioned to the CSR that I was a lefty and the holster included in the case was right-handed only.

She asked for the serial number and volunteered to send me a left-handed model. Note that lefties are out of luck if they bought an XDM, as LH holsters are not available yet.

Apparently, it's this one in left-handed, the only model they sell for southpaws: XD3500PH1

Got my left handed holster from Springfield with no problem. In fact, it showed up a few days ago.

Send them an e-mail from their website and they will ship you a lefty paddle holster free.

I just sent them an email. Did you have to send your right handed one in for exchange? Or did you have to pay for the holster?

As a lefty, let me just say that it's good to finally have a company that has acknowledged our existence and has made efforts to take care of us southpaws; from putting ambi-mag releases standard to giving lefty paddle holsters at no charge, this is one more reason why I can't wait to do business with SA!

Appreciate this thread. I just emailed SA asking about an exchange to a lefty (while I wait four months for my K&D Dakota Defender to get here.)
