ambi mag release issue

i carry a xd9 tactical in a bladetech rotating hood style holster. the holster does not cover the mag release button on the outside of the holster, but does have a contoured swell that is intended to protect the release. my patrol car has an after market utility console, and upon occasion my holster hits the console in just the right way to depress the mag release and let the mag pop out of its secured position. i have to double check the mag each time i get out of the car to make sure it is locked in place in the pistol. anyone else have any similar issues?
