Highest mileage XD?
Hey all,
I was perusing the M&P forum and read about one that had fired over 62,000 rounds as part of a durability test. Pretty cool.
It got me thinking about the XD and I'm kinda curious now...what XD has the highest number of rounds through it? I know there was a torture test that had around 20k rounds through it I think? Also pretty cool.
Any of them been run higher? Might be kinda fun to run one up to 63,000 
p.s. just don't ask me to buy the ammo

i "heard" of an xd range gun that had 250,000 through it. i cant remember what thread it was though.

mines got right at 20k with no signs of mechanical wear, and haven't had any malfunctions...

Mine will probably never see 10,000.
The way I look at it is mine will probably never see 10,000 rounds, so anything over that is a bonus. The one with 20,000 fired through it actually had a lot more than that. Who knows what it takes to actually wear an XD out, I'm sure the number goes beyond what most people fire.

Don't know how high the round count goes, but a very high percentage of guns never see many rounds go through them. Some buy because they think they want something, and never shoot it. Some try out the new gun and then put it away for various reasons, don't like it, etc. Some buy guns because they are not really shooters, they just want to possess them and then pass it along to someone else at a later date. I buy a gun with the intent to shoot it until it wears out. I have worn barrels out, mostly in rifles but it's not as easy as one might think!

The range guys at Bullseye here in Tacoma tell me the 9mm model probably has around 100k round through it.....I haven't fired it as I have my own XD but it doesn't look too worse for wear and they say it's served pretty well. Impressive.

i get sick of most of my guns before I even shoot 250 rounds. I cant seem to find anything I really enjoy.

My XD-40 has over 16k or 17k rounds through it currently. Keeps on ticking!
