XD Spare parts.

Has anyone tried to contact Springfield about getting spare parts? Like misc springs and stuff?

I have heard that they send out roll pins, but what about the other parts. Which parts would you get?

We stock those parts that SA will allow folks to self-install. Those that we don't stock, you need to send your gun into SA for the repair.

Good looking out! Thanks a bunch.

I saw the trigger springs kit. I have the trigger job from SA. Any clue as to what I should look for as replacements?

Are you looking to replace springs in your trigger kit, or just have backups?

I've bought a bunch of parts from SA: Springs, pins, the ejector, a number of other parts as well. If I get a chance, I'll inventory them.

I bought them as SHTF backups, not because I expect them to break in the XD--I surely don't--but because if I'm cleaning my gun and one of the pins or springs goes "Boing" into places unknown, I'm out of luck.

And that's happened. I was doing removal/replacement of the grip safety, and in reinstalling the spring, it went "Boing" and that was that. To this day, I've never found it. Fortunately, Daniel at PRP had an extra and saved the day for me.

Simply as backups. Like Mongoose I don't expect anything to break.

If you want a lighter spring kit, then you have Canyon Creek as a good option. If not, I would just stick with OEM.

My spare parts cache

Below is my package of XD spare parts. In order from top left:

Stock spare guide rod and spring
Firing Pin dampening spring
Trigger Bar Spring
Mag catch Spring
Grip Safety Spring
Mag Catch Pin
Locking Block Pin
Firing Pin Spring Guide
Grip Safety Pin
Ejector Pin
Sear Pin
Striker Retaining Pin
Locking Block Trigger Pin Detent
Ejector
Plus the stock parts replaced by the Powder River Trigger Upgrade, the sear spring, the trigger spring, and the striker safety lever.

Each part is labeled with the part number as well as the number from the schematic.

I'd still like to get a striker, striker indicator, and extractor.
