If you want a "quality" modification, go to a reputable gunsmith. Kits are just that: kits. They're drop-in, or only require minor modification. For precision, you need custom craftsmanship. That requires a gunsmith. (But like I said above, good luck finding someone who will warrant parts that they neither worked on nor provided.)

we have full springer bar and sear kits in two XD's now. we only wanted to do the kit once, and it's a small investment relative to how long we plan on having the guns.


it works great, the install wasn't hard, and people are amazed at the feel of them.
