XDm....

Got to go shoot an XDm today. Never seen one before, didn't know much about it. I can honestly say I am not impressed at all. Looks like a 'mee too' gun that got crossed up with a Walther and an M&P. Felt funky, if the grip angle came back just a tad, it'd be a Steyr. A bit more 'snap' than with my 9mm Service, but not 'offensive'. I like the slide, but thats about it. Maybe a passing fad or is my 'old' XD now obsolete?? I hope its just a passing fad, seems like everyone is making the same gun nowadays....

it is an add to the XD line.. they arent going to stop making the current XD line.. the XDm is marketing at competition shooters and personally think it has a lot of improvements.

I'm kinda with you, einheit...I handled one when I picked up my Glock, but it left me uninspired.

Big fat +1000 on that one.

You can never please everyone. As long as people are unique, everyone will have their own opinions, and everyone will have their likes and their dislikes.

How did the grip on the XDM feel compared to a regular XD in terms of thickness? I heard that it's a little thinner than the plastic grip on the regular model.

xdm and my 40 SC width are the same, the actual wall thickness is a little less on the m to make up for the extra width in the magazine but it didnt change the width of the grip
