Dang - I had an involuntary physical response when seeing that picture. From a fellow Photoshopper, nice work!

Local gunshop talk says they are going to make a xdm sub. I will believe it when I see it.

Actually I was visiting my local dealer and in my discussion with him there is going to be a XD(m) compact. Actually he has just placed an order for them and should be receiving then right before Christmas. Springfield Armory XDM 9MM PST 3.8B 19RD FS - I cannot find a picture of it yet but if anyone has one please share!!

I'll be more than a little pissed it that's the case, as I just recently bought a 'regular' XDSC 9mm.

Me, too. I won't be that upset since I love my new XD9sc, but will be interested to see an XDmSC if they do indeed make one.

Just checked out the link above. The new XDm 3.8" looks like it has the standard XDm grip instead of a shorter one. Reminds me of an XD "Service" model.

Send a message via Skype™ to xdmp22
the new 3.8" 9mm has a 19 round mag the height from slide to mag base is 5.375", hurry somebody hurry up and measure their "M" and their Subcompact

EDIT: heigth of a pmm sub with compact mag is 4.75 and with extended mag is 5.5, so the 3.8 is somewhere in between. the Fullsize M is 5.6 inches tall

so technically speaking, the 3.8 XDm is a compacted 9mm

think of it as the XDm Compact as opposed to a sub-compact.

I will be buying one of these!
