Good Price for an XD

What would be a good price for a new or used (good) XD40? I saw some around the 400s at Gunbroker but they're all illegal in my state. Where could I go look?

my neighborhood store and the best on the net....you cant beat buds for selection and price, and they have a great internet store

It depends where you live: In CA handguns just cost more, partially 'cus of the cost of getting them 'CA approved', and partially from all the mom-n-pop gun stores shutting down...unless you are lucky most areas only have big chains like Turners to buy from and they are pretty close to retails most of the time. Around here (southern CA) $499 is pretty standard for a service model...add about $50 for a Tactical.

I saw XD40's new at the gun show in Ft. Worth TX for $419. I paid $429 for mine new 4".

its about ten minutes from my house....and they have an indoor range too, so when i buy my new toys i get to shoot them right then and there

If I could find someone locally that would do transfers at a decent price I would have purchased many toys from Bud's. Some places around here want $100 to do a FFL transfer...kinda kills the cost savings (which I am sure is the point).

I think CDNN has it for 438.... Buds had it for 462 delivered but then tacked on another 13 bucks when a bud of mine tried to order. I got mine for 467 OTD

i sold my 4" for $400 w/ 5 mags and a box of ammo and bobs custom trigger (still had original parts to go with it)
