Their 20,000 round test was quite nifty.
THEY SHOULD TRY IT WITH A .40!

Some things that I did not know!
Welcome to HS-Arms
Frequently Asked Questions:
We have summarized the most frequently aseked questions of our customers:
What does HS stand for?
"HS" stands for High Standard. The HS Ltd company group has devoted itself to develop and produce firearms on the highest possible standard. This principle of "High Standard" is so formative for the company, that is has been flowed into the company name as well as in the naming of the products.
What is the difference between the Springfield XD Pistol family and the HS Pistol family?
Springfield Armory is distributing the HS-Pistols under its own trade name exclusively in the Amerikan region as Springfield XD Extreme Duty. In the European region the pistols come under their origin production name as HS onto the market. The pistols are up the different emblem (Springfield XD or HS) absolute identical and are of the same produktion.
Can I buy HS-Pistols directly at your company?
As the wholesale trader we cannot offer direct selling to end customers. All HS-Pistols can be obtained all over Germany and Austria at any concessionary arms dealer.
Where do I get more information about HS-Pistols?
For technical requests and further information please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Please look at our contact page.
The Company
Since its beginnings in 1990 the HS Ltd. company group has specialized on designing and manufacturing firearms on the highest level. Acting consequently on its maxim of "High Standard", the company has to score a great course of success.
The latest HS-Pistol family is the third generation product of the company which was developed on the basis of experience and knowledge of the two last models. The production process is based on advanced state-of-the art technical standard and is ISO 9001 certificated.
The employees involved in the developing and engineering process are coming from various branches concerned with production of firearms and are distinguished with the extensive knowledge in small arms and ammunition
The present production facility of the company is a few thousand pistols per year with a tendency of continuance growth. Although the HS-Pistol is a "newcomer" it has its own place on the demanding world market. Today the HS-Pistol is in operative use in various Police and Military Forces all over the world. Significant parts of the production is exported in USA, where the HS-Pistol is sold by Springfield Amory under its own label and is used by various US Law Enforcement Units that proof its matchless quality day by day.
The many independent tests carried out in several American, Asian and European countries, attest the HS-Pistols a very good future on the world market.
For Sure...It is Tenifer coating.....according to this -
Superior quality is the most basic principle of HS-Pistols. All steel parts are machined Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) from high-grade steel and after being heat treated, coated for a lifetime of hard use with the almost indestructible Tenifer Plus finish.
This new generation of the improved Tenifer coating was developed in cooperation with Dunferrit Germany ensures stronger material hardness, abrasion solidity and corrosion resistance.
The core hardness of the treated steel parts could be increased from 33 HRc at the Tenifer process to 40 HRc by the new Tenifer Plus process, as well as the tensile strength grow up from 880 - 1080 N/mm2 (Tenifer) to 1200 - 1300 N/mm2 (Tenifer Plus). The surface hardness of Tenifer Plus is equal to the Tenifer coat at 64 HRc, very close to the diamond-hardnes. So the Tenifer Plus process secures 30% higher core hardness and tensile strength at equal surface hardness and corrosion resistance.
The hardness of the steel parts is even that strong, that the offices of bombardment have problems to stamp the subsequent bombardment characters into the steel parts of the pistol.

" Springfield Armory is distributing the HS-Pistols under its own trade name exclusively in the Amerikan region "
I hope this is not foreshadowing of our future!
