9mm SubCompact

Ordered a 9mm Subcompact(with night sites) 2 days ago and it is supposed to be in today. I already have an 45 XD Compact and plan on using the 9mm for occasional ccw.
The same day I ordered the 9mm I called and got a Crossbreed Super Tuck on the way along with a Pearce Extension for the 10 round clip. The owner at crossbreed told me the holster will work on both the 45 Compact and the 9mm Subcompact. I hope I like it as much as some of you on here that have posted reviews about it.
After using the 45 for so long I am not really sure of what to expect from the 9mm XD as far as accuracy is concerned.

I find it just as accurate as the service model that I traded to my dad for his subcompact. It's a smooth shooter. Just like any XD. The only malf. I've had out of it have been ammo related (reloads). I wouldn't trade it for anything..........except maybe my service model I kinda miss it

Oh and have to do it.

XD Subcompact 9mm

I have both the 45 Compact and 9mm SC. Same accuracy and reliability---considerably less recoil. For quick followup shots I find the 9mm to be the better choice. Carry both in the same Blackhawk CQC Serpa paddle holster. Also have the lefthand Blackhawk holster and sometimes carry the .45 on my strong side and the SC on my left side.....just for days when I can't make a decision on what to carry.

I thought the CQC holster for the .45 and the 9/40/357 frames were diffrent.

I also have an XD45 compact and an XD9sc.
I'm a bit more accurate with the 45, I don't know why.
I always seem to shoot a tad low from the POA with the XD9sc.
I think it might be the Meprolights sights that I'm wanting to replace with TFOs.
Or it could just be a user error.
You will be fine with either pistol (or any XD) in your Supertuck.
XD45C with ext grip.

XD9sc with short mag.

Thanks for the replys. Just ran the first 204 rounds and finished cleaning it. I must say I am impressed. Also the $10 I spent on the Pearce Extension was woth every penny. It was in the mail box when I came back from picking up the new XD. I didnt even try the 10 round with the original base.
It fits in my Safariland holster that I have for the 45. I am looking forward to the crossbreed coming in. It will be the first IWB holster I have ever tried.
I did notice it was more accurate with the UMC rounds than with the Monarch's I got from Academy.
As partial as I am to the 45 I think I will cary the 9mm in the morning.

The 9sc is just about a perfect gun. Easy and economical to shoot, highly accurate, and easy to carry. What more could you want?

You said it. I thought the shorter sight radius and barrel compared to the 45 compact would be a major deal. I am just as accurate with the new 9SC if not more so.

The XD9SC is the best XD for all purposes IMHO

I started with my service and then got the XD9SC. I swear I shoot the SC better for some reason. It's a great little gun and that shorter barrel/sight radius didn't affect it's accuracy at all (for me atleast). Almost wondering why I have the service, but the bi-tone is so sexy and I know I'd regret it some day if I got rid of it. Let us (me) know how you like that supertuck. Have fun with it!
