Got to stop going to the range

I have owned my XD9 SC since January, and have been carrying since I received my CCW in March. Love the gun so much that I also bought the service model, but just can't find the right holster to make carrying comfortable. The closest I've come is the High Noon Split Decision.

Went to the range today and of course, had to see what was on display. I've got the fever again. They had a Springfiled EMP and couldn't help myself. Had to fondle it. They let me try it with a IWB holster they had. The smaller size made it a lot more comfortible to carry. Now I want one.

As you can see from my signature block, I'm fond of 9mm's and feel that this would be a nice additional to my collection, but haven't quite gotten past the pre-purchase remorse yet. You know the old saying, the more pre-purchase remorse, the less post-purchase remorse.

My wife says I'll probably be late coming home from work tomorrow, having to stop at the gun store on the way. You know, she's probably right, as usual.

I love my EMP - its why I ended up selling my XD9SC (even though that's also a sweet gun). Easier to conceal and shoots better. Better stop picking it up or you'll end up with one. ; )

If I were going for a EMP it would be .40SW, 9mm doesn't quite have the BANG for the buck for me...

I wouldn't mind having a 3" 1911 in .45, but I want a 5" model first.
