Well, the DPS lady called me back today so I explained to her my situation and what the other guy said from DPS along with what the local courthouse said, and she said that the Discharging a firearms on caddo lake charge will show up as long as the game warden turned in the ticket. She also said that they not only run a background check on you through fingerprints and computer, but they also send out officers for field evaluations where the tickets were served. She pretty much made it sound like I wont be able to get my CHL for another 4 years. (But im tempted to try any way)
