Whenever I see these caliber debates, I just have to wonder if any of the participants will actually end up lawfully shooting someone.

My thinking is this: I carry a .45 ACP so that if I have to shoot someone, it will make a large hole. However, I would feel well equipped with either a .38 Special, .357 mag, .41 mag, .44 mag, 9mm, 40 s&w, or .45acp, as long as I have had plenty of time to practice and become proficient with what ever I chose to carry.
