I had a conversation with a guy that shoots IPSC and he told me that they (BP) also have trained for the pelvic area, it's a bigger target and easier to hit.

ok u think shoot it till it stop it doesnt matter if it dies since its a threat to you own existence/love ones
will that be acceptable in a court case?

in most states it probably won't be. In some, it might fly if the situation was escalated that high.
