Simular product has been available for years for 1911's.
Designed mainly to reduce wear from metal to metal contact on the 1911.
Doubt will have a noticeable recoil reduction, but will give it a try for $10

Like to see how it does on a 40 or 45 instead of a 9mm.... If its only 10$ ill probably end up getting one a trying it out for the heck of it.

If you are having metal to metal your spring is too weak.
IIRC I DO have one in my 1911 but that was put there a very long time ago.
I'll wait until my first XD rattles itself to death before I worry about such non-sense.
