Xdm grip chop
I just ordered a XDM 3.8" with the full size grip. Ive seen some threads with xd's and xdm's copping the grip to fit a compact mag. What im wondering if i can do a grip chop shorter than the full mag and longer then the compact mag. I was thinking i could then chop both of the mags down and re-assemble them to fit my custom grip chop. I have smaller hands and dont like the full grip and already have a CC gun. Is this possible? Anyone ever cut down mags?

yah i want a mid grade handle... the compact is just too small. id like to make it fit my hand perfectly. Maybe possible to CC it as well.

Sounds like you need to look at some different guns.
Try a s&w, or a kahr.

IMO I would never ever chop the grip or mess with the magazines of any of my guns. Nor would I stipple or cut into the grip in any way.
You've voided any and all warranties and made your gun worth zero in a heartbeat. If you don't like how your gun fits buy another gun that fits better.
