Just ordered mine today.
One question, I thought the Pearce grip was just a ramp on the bottom of the mag. Is there also a +1 extension or is this the same thing? Thanks.

Pearce makes two extensions for the SC models. The standard extension simply gives a rest for the pinky. Their "+1" extension allows one more round to be loaded with only about a 1/2" increase in the mag length. I installed this one on my XD9SC and it worked well. Gave me 14+1 capability with the XD 13 round flush mag. Caution on this. They had an earlier model where the follower interfered with the extra round. If your doesn't work, simply eMail Pearce and they'll send you the correct part.

Congratulations on finding a great gun. I have both an XD9sc and an XD-S pistol and both are fine weapons. Although I have recently become enamored with the 1911 format, every time I return to the XD9sc, it is like returning to an old friend. It shoots with exceptional accuracy and is one of the most comfortable pistols I own. It is a great EDC weapon.

My fav too although I shot my buddies full size .45 this week and man that thing was fun to shoot one handed! WANT! lol
