I was wondering when the 9mm XDS would be out to compete with the SIG P938. This would be a great pocket carry piece. I called SA and they confirmed that it would be out in Q4 2012.

They are out. I got mine last week. A 9mm bitone. It shoots great. The only problem I had with it was getting used to the grip on the small frame. I pinched a blood blister on my weak hand thumb under the takedown release. Made a little adjustment and no problems. I shoots great and was very accurate for its size to my suprise.

Hi guys, let me say this, when I screw up I will admit it and make it right. Well I screwed up. I apologize and now wish to correct myself. I have bought a few used Springfields in the past week including a XD 40 OD Green, XDM 5.25 40 bitone to go with my other two 5.25s. One of them was also a XD subcompact in 9mm bitone that I traded for. I had not seen the 45 XDs and was thinking the s stood for subcompact. My mistake. Not intentional I assure you.
