UPDATE: traded my G23 for a XD 40 service....put 200 rounds through it without a hitch......

I will NEVER go back to Glock until they get their guns fixed (poor ejections)...

I have three XD's XD45, XD9, XD9sc, and three Glocks...G17, G23, G26. In 45 i like the XD the best because of the grip is slimmer. in the 9-40 frame size i like the Glocks better because of the lighter weight and they seem to conceal better for ME.

you got that right....im sick and tired of getting beamed in the face with brass....
im going to have to shoot my new XD a lot over the next few weeks to get rid of the damn flinch ive developed shooting that damn glock

One of two reasons I sold my G30. When my wife shoots her XD45 Tactical, I still watch in amazement at the brass spitting to the side.
Where it belongs.

in the past two years i have been through FOUR Glocks....two 9mm and two 40's....and all four of them started blasting me in the face with brass after about 500 rounds......
just go over to Gtalk fourm and look at the 4 billion threads on the subject, even a few of mine, LOL....
Glock has lost their "Top Dog" status as far as im concerned and will not touch another one until they fix their crap.......It all started when they began making the Gen 4's, and the poor quality migrated into the gen 3's too

Interesting.
None of my 4 GLocks--3 21's and a 34--hit me in the face with brass. Nor did any of the Glocks I owned before that did, either.
And I've probably got an aggregate of 10-15k rounds through them.
Guess I'm just lucky...

anyone have a glock and an xd, g23 gen 3 vs xdm 40 3.8, glock 30 or xdm 45, glock sale lexington ky, glock slides out of spec brass to face, glock talk glock 21 gen 4 problems been fixed, have extractor issues been fixed on late model gen 3 g19s, how accurate is your out of the box glock, no cure for ignorance anti glock, regret ccw, sig m400 / glocktalk, tactical units switching from 1911s to glocks or others, we must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. it is time to rest, why are glocks sold out, xd or g19/17
