Nice shooting! I want to shoot my xds already. I tested the initial pull weight and it was around 7.5-8 lbs for mine. Hoping it will become lighter and more smooth.

Nice range report. Yes, the XDS IS all that and a bag of chips.......
IMHO of course

After a few months, I FINALLY got to hold a shield today at my LGS.

I will admit, I was hell bent on finding a Shield to study first before buying it or the XDS. Well, the Shield has been on the endangered species list in my area forever. So this past weekend, I bought the XDS after giving up hope. Stopped in the LGS today to buy more 45ACP ( ), and there was a Shield . It was damn nice, but no XDS!!!!! IMHO
No Koolaid drinking either, as I love my S&Ws and Springfields. The Shield just did not stun me like the XDS.

I have an XD9 and a M&P9 Shield and have them both as my carry weapon. The shield is easier to conceal is why I bought it... Love them both
