Super pleased with my new XDSC .40
Well i have been waiting a long time to buy an xd and earlier today I finally picked up my SC .40. Put about 50 rounds through it as soon as I got home and I am extremely pleased. The trigger is much lighter and smoother than I expected based on what I have read on here. I ran about 40 rounds of Winchester white box 165 grain and 10 Winchester PDX1 JHP 180 grain through it with no problems at all. The gun is very manageable and quite comfortable to shoot. I was also surprised that my groups were nearly identical with both the 9 round and the 12 round mags. I purchased mine with the trijicon night sights already installed, which I really like. My out the door price after Texas sales tax was $600.59, and it was worth every penny. I have learned quite a bit on here already and I hope to continue gathering info.

Let my fiancé shoot it today. She put about 40 rounds through it and was very happy with her results for it being her first time to shoot a semi auto. She was maintaining 7" groups.
I also ordered a pierce extension for the 9 round mag and a pachmayr slip on grip. Looking at the blackhawk serpa holster as well.

I have the Blackhawk serpa for my XD40sc and love it for open carry. There's no chance of it falling out.

I love mine and it is the one gun I won't ever sell. It spends most of its time in my safe as my EDC guns are now Sigs but I do take it out an carry it once in a while.
